Are you ready to make a difference and serve our city? We’ll join with dozens of local churches to meet needs all around town for Spring CityServe on May 3 and 4. We’ll serve neighborhood schools and other organizations in partnership with COSILoveYou, helping to bless neighbors in need and spark hope in the city where God has planted us!

NIGHT OF PRAYER AND WORSHIP

Prayer is a core part of who we are as a church community! With the week of May 6 – 12 being our next week of sabbath, we’ll intentionally press pause on all mid-week events except one: Join us for a special all-church Night of Prayer and Worship as we gather to center our hearts on Christ. In the midst of the fast pace that surrounds us in our day-to-day life, come anticipating a reverent and powerful evening as we give glory to Christ together through prayer and song. 6:30 PM, Wednesday, May 8, at the Monument campus.

BACKYARD SUMMER CAMP

In the spirit of our Sabbath Year, we’re reimagining Kid’s Summer Day Camp for 2024. Instead of a big, on-campus event, parents and kids will have the opportunity to share the hope of Christ with friends and neighbors through hosting their very own Backyard Summer Camp. With minimal prep time, easy-to-follow instructions and step-by-step videos, this free camp is designed for families to share with friends at home.

Families will receive all the digital content to host a camp whenever and wherever they choose. You can customize the experience to meet your needs: follow the suggested three-day format, complete the camp in one to two days, or just use it as a starting point to get your wheels turning. This could be a great opportunity for neighbors to host a camp together or for grandparents to share God’s love with the next generation!

We’re excited about the ways God will move as kids in backyards across our city discover God’s love in wonderful ways!

JESUS 101

What if all this Jesus stuff is true? Not the part that gets tangled up in manmade traditions and politics, but the stuff about the God of love and light coming to earth to rescue us and usher in a new way of living? Are you new to faith, or maybe you’re not even sure you believe in Jesus? Join us for Jesus 101, a safe place to ask questions discover more about Jesus in a small group setting. This three-session discussion group meets at our Rockrimmon campus on Monday evenings beginning April 22. Childcare is available.

SUMMER KICK-OFF

To get summer off to a great start, our Woodmen Kids team is also hosting a summer kickoff. There’ll be food, bounce houses and lots of opportunities for family fun, so mark your calendar for 5:30 PM on Friday, June 6, round up your kiddos and invite your friends to join the party.

We’re grateful to the Lord for all He provides! We’re monitoring expenses closely to ensure a solid foundation to sustain the ongoing work of ministry.
