WEEK OF PRAYER

Join us in the days ahead as we respond to God's Word in prayer. Through these prayers, inspired by Ephesians 3:14-21, we trust that, as individual Christ-followers and as a church community, we'll lift up God's name and come to better understand who He is and who we are in Him.

NIGHT OF WORSHIP AND PRAYER

Don’t miss our all-church Night of Worship and Prayer at 6:15 PM on Wednesday, October 12 at Rockrimmon. Together, we’ll welcome the Holy Spirit with our praise, offer prayers to our Heavenly Father and glorify Christ through our words and melodies. WOODMEN MEN'S RETREAT 2022

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” But what does it mean to act like men in a biblical context? This is the question we'll be unpacking at the 2022 WVC Men’s Retreat. Join us for a time of community, enriching conversation and spiritual growth on October 20-22 at Quaker Ridge Camp & Conference Center.

RIDING FOR GIFT OF LOVE

Each year ACTS hosts the Gift of Love Christmas event. This event enables adults to purchase gifts for their children at 80-90% off retail prices. Families tell us they love attending this event because it not only provides affordable gifts but also allows children and adults to enjoy cookie decorating, a photo booth, crafts and games. A few of our school families started attending Woodmen because of their Gift of Love experience. Woodmen volunteers made them feel cared for and loved and they wanted to be a part of our church community.

This year we would like to invite our Motorcycle Enthusiasts to kick off our Gift of Love gift collection with a ride on Saturday, Oct 15, at 9 AM at the Woodmen Monument Campus. Simply bring a $25 Visa gift card to be offered as a teen gift and join us for some “Woodmen Wind Therapy!”

GIVING WITH GRATITUDE

Thanks to your generous gifts, life-changing ministry is happening every week through Woodmen. Your investment in the gospel is sharing hope across the Pikes Peak region and around the globe. Here’s a stewardship update as of September 26:

Year-to-date budget (fiscal year beginning October 1, 2021):   $  11,819,173
Year-to-date general tithes and offerings:   $   11,527,607
Shortfall:   $      (291,566)

We’re grateful to God for all He provides! While tithes and offerings are behind budget, we’re monitoring expenses closely to ensure a solid foundation to sustain the ongoing work of ministry. Is God calling you to participate financially in the ways He is moving through Woodmen? You can give online or when the basket is passed during today’s service. Online giving is a great way to follow through with your commitments to give regularly to the Lord.
