TONIGHT: O COME LET US ADORE
How will you center your heart on the wonder of Christ’s birth in the days leading up to Christmas? Join us for an all-church Advent Night of Prayer and Worship, tonight at 6:30 PM, at the Rockrimmon Campus. Together, we’ll make space to slow down and wait on the Lord as we lift our hearts, our prayers and our praise to the King of glory who left heaven’s throne to be with us.
PRAYER FOCUS: GIFT OF LOVE
Please join us in praying for the Gift of Love Celebration taking place this Saturday at Rockrimmon and Heights. Over 1,300 neighbors have been invited to participate, selecting Christmas gifts to help them experience a merry Christmas. For many, this will be their first time in a church. Pray that they'll feel the weight of the world lifted, and their hearts filled with the joy of Christ’s love.
ABLE: ABOVE & BEYOND
ABLE is fueling ministry and reducing debt. We’re less than one year into the funding initiative, and we’ve already received $3,000,000. We’re seeing great results: We’ve reduced our long-term debt, and thanks to your generosity, Woodmen Downtown is off to an amazing start. Attendance has doubled as more people experience the love of Jesus.
Our year-end goal is to reach the $3,300,000 mark, and we’re just $300,000 away! If we each do our part, we’ll get there together! Advent is a season of waiting—an opportunity to align our hearts in preparation to celebrate the coming of the Christ child. Each weekend on the way into worship you'll receive a weekly advent calendar. You'll find a thought, a song or scripture for each day, to help you turn your heart toward Jesus throughout the week, And on the back of the calendar, be sure to check out the story of the week—part of our Year of Story. CHRISTMAS EVE: CHRIST HAS COME!
God promised a rescuer who would bring peace, redemption and hope. The wonder of Christmas is that God sent His own Son, Jesus, to fulfill the promise to humanity—to you and me. And that’s worth celebrating! Make plans to worship with your campus community on Christmas Eve and invite a friend to celebrate with you.
