November 16 UPDATE

As Thanksgiving approaches, we are thankful for you and for all the ways that God has sustained the vibrant Woodmen community of faith this year! Check out this video from Pastor Josh to get the latest on the ways God continues to work through the Woodmen family. Then, have a look below for six ways you can join in. From apple pies to Zimbabwe, you’ll find opportunities to build community, pray, serve our city and more.

It’s one of our favorite times of the year: The Gift of Love Celebration is coming up on December 10 and 11! Together we’ll serve 300 local families as they shop for Christmas gifts for their children at affordable, discounted prices. Families share special moments and parents have dignity and pride in providing for their little ones. You can bring joy into Christmas by dropping off new, unwrapped gifts at your Woodmen campus on the weekends of Nov 28/29 or Dec 4/5. You can also be part of the fun by serving at the Gift of Love Celebration! Find the gift list and sign up to serve RIGHT HERE.

Over the coming year, Woodmen mission teams will journey to Estonia, Greece, Zimbabwe, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and more. You’ll find a variety of trips designed for adults, families and college students. Serving opportunities include helping children, providing medical care and working with refugees. God calls His people to serve and to go. Will you pray and ask the Lord if this is your time to answer the call? Signup deadlines are approaching fast. To get all the info CLICK HERE.

If you've been viewing our online worship service, let us know! Take our online viewing survey designed to help us get to know you and serve you better! You’re important to us and we’d love to hear from you. The survey will take less than 10 minutes of your time. Get started RIGHT HERE.

Woodmen has served our city by operating the Westside Community Center for the last 12 years. The City of Colorado Springs recently opened up a process allowing us to submit a proposal for even greater, long-term involvement in the years ahead. We’re excited about the possibility of growing deeper roots to meet needs and love well in this part of our city. Will you join us in praying over this opportunity? Whether or not our proposal for the community center is accepted, we’re trusting God to lead as we continually find ways to spark hope across the Pikes Peak region and serve those who need a helping hand.

God is good and we have much to be thankful for! Our annual Thanksgiving Basket event is coming up this Saturday. It’s our chance to make sure hundreds of others across our city have a meaningful Thanksgiving. There’s still time to help families in need experience the joy of Thanksgiving by donating food or grocery gift cards, or by packing or delivering baskets. Sign up to serve or to shop for others RIGHT HERE.

Maybe you’ve been enjoying weekend services for a while and you’re ready to find out more about who we are as a church. Maybe you’re ready to find next steps toward building community.
