BACKPACK BASH

It seems like summer is just getting started, but parents and kids will be in back-to-school mode again before you know it. You can help a child thrive in the coming year by participating in the Backpack Bash. This year, our friends at COSILoveYou are providing all the school supplies, and we’re looking for you to donate backpacks. Along with more than 60 other local churches, we can meet this need and help thousands of local kids start the school year off right. You can drop off a backpack or two as you come to worship any time over the next three weekends.

BECOME A COMMUNITY GROUP LEADER

Community Groups are a vital part of who we are as a church and how we build relationships and grow closer to Christ. Have you thought about leading a group? In the year ahead, we’re expecting more than 5,000 people to engage in small groups at Woodmen. And with more people looking for a place to belong, we have openings for Community Group leaders this fall! Lives are being changed as men and women commit to community. You don’t have to have a particular set of skills. We’ll provide you with the resources and coaching you need. Now is a great time to step up and lead and strengthen others in their faith.

MAKE A CONNECTION

Summer is the perfect time to meet up with a Woodmen Connect Group! These casual groups come together around a shared interest—no big commitment or homework, just a spot to have fun and maybe make a like-minded friend or two. There are groups for outdoor folks: hikers, golfers, runners and climbers. You’ll also find groups centered around step-families, widows, folks new to America, or parents and kids ready to play at the park. Check out all the options and find your group by clicking below!

WOODMEN WELCOME

Have you attended a Woodmen Welcome? Whether you're new to Woodmen or a long-timer, we'd love to have you join us! You'll get to know campus staff and leaders and hear about our vision, values and beliefs as a church community. You'll have a chance to explore next steps to get involved and make Woodmen feel more like home. And there's ample time for Q&A. Our next Woodmen Welcome is Sunday, July 14, at 11 AM. We hope to see you there!
