NIGHT OF WORSHIP

Let’s lift up God’s name together! We gather on the second Wednesday each month at the Rockrimmon campus at 6:30 PM for a church-wide night of worship and prayer. Join us on November 12, as we proclaim the story of God’s rescuing love in song. We’ll remind one another of who He is and what He’s done to bring us new life. As God’s people, we’ll listen to His voice and respond to His presence.

MEETING THE NOVEMBER NEED

In November, it’s possible that 85,000 people in El Paso County will be affected by the federal government freeze on monthly SNAP benefits. In addition, many federal employees are being impacted by furloughs.
Some families will face a choice between groceries, rent or utilities.

To help meet this need as a church community, we’re coming alongside local partner organizations that focus on food insecurity, including Crossfire Ministries, Tri-Lakes Cares, and Mercy’s Gate. Here are two ways you can respond, and help remind those in need that there are people who care and there’s a God who loves them:

-You can donate food items directly to our Feeding Families initiative. Together we’re helping to provide healthy and tasty food to hundreds of families in neighborhoods across our city. You can drop off your items here at our campus, or you can donate through our Amazon wishlist.

- Give to Woodmen's LoveWell fund. This fund is here to meet tangible needs in the Pikes Peak region and beyond. It’s a catalyst for the ways we serve and support ministries and organizations offering practical care for neighbors in need. If you’re in a position to contribute, you can GIVE HERE.

HOPE BEYOND BORDERS

God’s kingdom is bigger than any borders and we want to be a people who share the hope of Jesus around the world. In 2026 we’re sending out short-term teams of men and women to serve in places including Estonia, Nicaragua, Montana, and Uzbekistan.  To learn more about the trip dates, cost, ministry area, etc., come to our 2026 informational trip meeting on Sunday, November 9, at 3 PM at our Rockrimmon Campus. Will you pray and ask the Lord if this is your year to go?

ABLE: Hope for the Future. Love for the City.

Through God’s grace, our new Woodmen campus is blessing people in the heart of the Springs. This fall, new opportunities are kicking off downtown. From a new Saturday night service, to Third Thursday for young adults, to ASL translation, to Senior Adult ministry, people are being welcomed into community and into the hope of Jesus. Praise God! This was made possible through your faithful prayers, service and financial support of the ABLE initiative. Exciting things are in store as we continue to grow this downtown hub for kingdom community.

Able is also designed to eliminate all Woodmen debt by 2028. From increasing the reach of current, life-changing ministries, to launching innovative opportunities, Able will multiply our gospel impact for decades to come at every Woodmen campus, across our city and beyond! In just the first eight months of Able, the people of Woodmen have already contributed $2,300,000 toward the $10,000,000 goal. We’re grateful for your generosity! 52 STORIES

Each of us has a story. This year, as a church community, we’re diving deep into the story of Jesus and how He changes our lives. We’re calling it a Year of Story, and we’re sharing 52 stories from the Woodmen community. Read this week’s story video to find out how for five decades, Rod and Janice Chisholm have seen the Lord’s faithfulness. Through every circumstance, through valleys and mountaintops, His hand has guided their path.

Story Of The Week

THANKSGIVING BASKETS

Help provide a delicious Thanksgiving meal for those in need! This Thanksgiving, Woodmen is partnering with families in our community to make sure they can enjoy a meal with family and friends by giving them baskets full of all they need. There's still a need for $25 grocery gift cards that will be included in each basket for a family to buy a turkey for their meal. If you're able to help, please drop off a gift card at your campus office by November 14 in an envelope marked "Thanksgiving Baskets".

WOODMEN WELCOME

Have you attended a Woodmen Welcome? Whether you're new to Woodmen or a long-timer, we'd love to have you join us! You'll get to know campus staff and leaders and hear about our vision, values and beliefs as a church community. You'll have a chance to explore next steps to get involved and make Woodmen feel more like home. And there's ample time for Q&A. Our next Woodmen Welcome is Sunday, November 9, at 11 AM. We hope to see you there!
