Becoming Debt Free
Woodmen’s elder council and pastoral leadership place a high-priority on operating with integrity and wisdom, patiently and carefully seeking the Lord’s direction in all stewardship decisions. You can rest assured that we only consider borrowing funds to leverage high-impact ministry, in accordance with Woodmen’s established guiding financial principles.
We have prudent policies in place to assure that debt ratios and other key financial indicators are well within strict guidelines for a church of our size. Woodmen is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and adheres to their rigorous standards for financial health. In addition, we undertake an annual independent audit by highly-respected CPA firm, CapinCrouse, and follow their recommendations to ensure the highest levels of financial integrity.
Through ABLE, along with meeting our regular debt-service obligations over the next three years, we’ll knock out Woodmen’s debt! Praise God! Imagine what kinds of exciting opportunities He’ll lead us to as these funds are dedicated to fresh opportunities to love well and change lives through Christ in the years ahead!
