October 14, 2023 • Josh Lindstrom • Revelation 1:1-8
The word translated “revelation” simply means “to uncover something that is concealed,” and it is the Greek word from which we get the English word “apocalypse.” The words that follow are a promise to those who would heed what is spoken, and contained therein is a particular message that we need to share. In him we have been made not only a kingdom but also priests called to live for his glory, him who has dominion forever and ever.
