Estonia - Day 8 Cultural Exploration and Afterparty Day!
This morning, we enjoyed an awesome breakfast at our hotel, with amazing bacon and an endless supply of donuts, which were eaten quickly by one of our group members (so, not so endless). Our day started with a visit to the Museum of Occupations and Freedom. It was so interesting to learn about the struggles the Estonian people have been through and to witness/ hear their journey to freedom. For lunch, we went to this cool place with all different places to eat and thrift stores up stares before walking to a boardwalk by the water. On our way back to the hotel, we got slushies, it was a great pick me up and nice after a lot of walking!! At the hotel we quickly got ready to go to the after party! The after-party was amazing filled with laughter and fun things like nine square and dance battles. A highlight of the night was when Kaileigh and I had the awesome privilege to share our testimonies with everyone.
It was a blessing to share our stories and how God has redeemed us and brought us closer to Him, from death to life!
As we get ready for our final day here, looking back on a week of fellowship with the Estonian, we feel truly grateful for this experiences and the bonds we've formed with each other and the Estonians!!
