Estonia Students July 2024 #1

Hello family!

This morning we all met at the Colorado Springs Airport to leave for Estonia. Our first flight on the way to Estonia was to Dallas Fort Worth where we endured quite a rough landing. After a long layover in DFW we boarded our flight to Helsinki Finland, which was around 10 hours long. Most people slept but I used my time to watch some movies and I even had time left over to play angry birds with my seat parters, Will and Teagan. On the plane, they fed us food which was really weird and not the best, but still it was a cool experience. When we finally landed in Finland, we observed that there weren't many other people in the airport and it was really quiet.  We waited for quite a while in the Helsinki Airport which gave us time to try a new  restaurant; Naughty Burgers. Kirby was hooked immediately by the funny name so we went for lunch and it's safe to say that everyone was disappointed. We then continued to wait for our 20 minute flight from Helsinki to Tallinn for about 3/4 hours while playing subway surfers and Uno. Finally we landed in Tallinn and we were met by Britany and her two kids, Oliver and Elsie. This was great because we were all super tired from the long travel day and we got to finally meet our new host. After everybody showered we all went to get pasta for dinner in Old Town where we got to meet and hang out with the Josiah Venture interns. Finally we made it back to debrief and now it's time to go to bed. This is probably the best time of the day because now we all can rest and get on track and ready for camp!
