Kenya Cure Hospital - Day 3 (Wed.)

Wednesday (July 17) was such a fun and exciting day! We started off with a delicious breakfast made by Christine. Then, we walked to the hospital and split up into groups to join the staff for a devotion. We sang songs and talked about parts of the Bible. After that, we got back together and split into smaller groups to hang out and help the patients in the ward and the staff in the outpatients area. We had a blast spending time with them and making their day brighter while making our day brighter.

After a few hours, we took a break and had some tea. Then, we got back to what we were doing until 1 o'clock. At 1, we all enjoyed a traditional lunch with lots of rice. It was so yummy! After lunch, we hopped into a small van and drove to a children's home and school about an hour away. We did a skit for the kids and gave them candy. Even though we were a little late, we still got to see the place and meet so many fun and adorable kids.

Finally, we drove back to the guest house and ended the night with sharing stories and having dinner together. It was a great way to wrap up the day. We had an amazing time and can't wait for more adventures tomorrow!
