Serving others and having fun!

Good morning sleepy head!!!! We woke up at 6:15, we got some scrumptious and yummy breakfast. The options were delicious!! We then went to work with the Compassion Center with Pastor Jeremy and we got to meet Alfred. We work with awesome people that we’re happy to help the community! We were glad serving the community and helping others, and meeting their needs. We handed boxes of food, we set up a “store” in their parking lot that they could go shopping for clothes and toys and shoes and we served juice and cookies to all!  We also got to hear about their current dream of building their own building and how they were able to meet with contractors this week!  Now we all pray for the funds to come in-but we all know (including them) God will provide!!  Next year we hope to be in their new building!! 

Hello team, it’s time to eat lunch! That was some delicious lunch! Thank you team for preparing it!!!! Well-we all pack our own lunches the night before so we can’t blame anyone but ourselves if we don’t like it. Then we went to one of the sandlot back drop and played wiffle ball and Alfred bought us some  yummy scrumptious ice cream. We then headed over to the state capital building where we got to pray and think, and continue to talk about our week ahead. After that, we ate dinner at a Hawaiian restaurant, delicious and scrumptious.  The only downside today-it was like 1000° but we still did our team debrief and worship at an outdoor mall. Then we went to our comfy and beautiful hotel, packed our lunches for tomorrow and brush teeth and say good night!  We are super excited to head over to church in the morning at the Genesis Project and prep for VBS! Good night!
