Uzbekistan #3

Our first full day of teaching was exhausting and exhilarating all at the same time! Around 130 students have come to learn or develop their English skills, enjoy conversations in English with peers and make new friends. Teaching English is not quite as simple as it sounds, and making it a fun experience takes planning (and flexibility) depending on the students. We added afternoon activities which are some of our hobbies (art, crafts, games, dance, volleyball, etc.) and it was definitely a highlight for the students. A delicious Turkish dinner followed by lesson planning for day 2 was  a nice ending to our day. A good nights rest will energize us for another day of camp!!
