Zambia #3 A Day of Story

Today was a time of deeper connection with people and their stories. From pre-op to the ward to the kitchen to intake to the pastoral staff, the team spent time building relationships, empathizing and hearing the stories of the patients, caregivers and staff.
 
As we ventured into the hospital, we felt blessed to see the outpouring of CURE's mission to reach and heal the children of Zambia and to see the efficiency and care the staff takes with their time, talents and resources.
 
We spent the evening with several staff at a braai, meant to be a gathering for sharing and learning more about each other’s stories. It was a sweet time of hearing how the staff came to CURE and how passionate they are about their mission in serving the children and the Kingdom.
