Uganda October 2019 Day 1

We spent our first night in this beautiful country last night. After about 27 hours of travel, we were warmly greeted by Fred, the spiritual director of the CURE hospital, who took us to our hotel near the Entebbe airport around midnight. Our team of six has quickly bonded and shares a lot of laughter. It is interesting to see the unique blend of individuals that God has brought together that complement each other so well to form a great team.

Today’s drive to the hospital in Mbale took most of the day, beginning with heavy city traffic eventually giving way to rain forests and hilly terrain. The CURE hospital is located in the bustling city of Mbale in east Uganda. Tomorrow we will attend the church that Fred pastors and I (Kevin) will preach the message while Fred translates. Please pray for our impact on the people here and for their impact on us.
