Kenya July 2019

Greetings from Kenya. The Woodmen Valley Chapel Team arrived safely at the AIC CURE facility in Kijabe last Sunday, and right away we began our work by building relationships with patients and hospital staff. Most of the patients came to CURE from the surrounding area to be treated for clubfeet, bowed legs, and bone and joint abnormalities. We have ministered to, encouraged, and prayed for the children and their parents. Our interactions with them have been genuine and meaningful as we have come alongside hospital staff to proclaim the joy of following Jesus as Lord during group devotions, worship, and conversations.

CURE Kenya seeks not only physical healing but also spiritual healing as well. Healing changes everything, and God’s fingerprints are all over CURE’s campus and Kenya. On Wednesday, our Woodmen team had the opportunity to travel into the countryside and visit a family who’s two young sons have been treated for clubfeet by CURE. While their road to full mobility is not over, they do now have the ability to walk and play outside with friends. Charles, the father, continues to make the Lord the leader of his household, and he trusts in God to meet his family’s needs. Please continue to pray for CURE Kenya and the lives it touches in Africa.
