HS Estonia - Music Camp - July 12th

Today was our third day of music camp, and it was a blast! we woke up at 7 and all of us girls managed to get ready and get to the meeting on time, which was a huge win for all of us. after that we enjoyed a good breakfast and moved to music workshops. while kaden, isa, carly and charlie practiced music for the performance, the rest of us carried some wood, cleaned some bathrooms, and continued getting ready for the big game that night. right around choir time, some of our teammates started not feeling well. unfortunately, there has been some sickness at the camp, but i am happy to report that everyone is on the mend! after choir time and lunch, we started heading out in shifts for paintball. it was a ton of fun! while we weren’t at paintball, we were writing letters for our American and Estonian friends to open on the last day of camp. after dinner, the wild camp game started. we were split into teams that travelled the nearby countryside, searching for stations where we would complete challenges. all of us were a little unprepared for the trek, especially as the majority of it included going through grass that was a little tall for some of us. still, we had a lot of fun! some of the challenges included putting a tire on a car, opening a bottle only using paper and string, and my personal favorite, digging for keys in a bucket full of ogre waste (mud with watermelon rinds and some other fun stuff in it). on our team, Tyler, Kaden and I (Ruby) did an excellent job of completing that challenge. after the game, we headed up for debrief where we heard about jessah and charlie’s adventures in the Estonian grasslands and heard an amazing testimony from carly. we are soooo tired and our legs are sore, but we’re thankful for another day in Estonia and another chance to experience the blessings He has for us here.
