Nicaragua #3

Yesterday was a very special day as we were able to meet Verbo’s Pastor, his wife and the Front-line team who serve at the church. People who have committed themselves to serve. It was a great time to get to know them more and thank them for what they do on a daily and weekly basis. We had the opportunity to hear their stories that started with a tragedy back in 1998. Our meeting was over a great dinner in a beautiful place where we heard their stories. Some of them are survivors of the landslide after the Hurricane Mitch which destroyed their community, they experienced a lot of pain and suffering due to the loss of loved ones. Some of them have served their community continuously since that time helping the church minister to the spiritual and physical needs around them. They know and have assurance that God was there in the pain and that God is here now with a purpose for the community in Posoltega  who we came to serve.
