El Salvador Mission Trip - Day 1

We made it!

Our team of seven departed chilly Colorado Springs Friday morning, and after a couple flights landed in San Salvador around 9:30 pm. Once through customs, we were greeted by a friendly team of in-country Compassion staff and whisked off to our hotel for some much needed rest after a long day of travel. We thank God for smooth flights and for our safe arrival!

We are all very excited to be in El Salvador and are eager to experience this beautiful country. We know God brought us all here for a reason and we want to allow Him to work in and through us over this next week. God is doing great work through Compassion here and it is a blessing to witness that and be able to be a small part of it even if it is just for a short time. Our team is diverse in ages, occupations and skill sets, but we know God can use us and are excited to get started!
