Zimbabwe #8

Our week at CURE Zimbabwe provided a close-up view of great suffering and miraculous rebirth, smiles and tears, questioning and confirmation. But after the day ended Friday, the team transformed into tourists. We started our day with a short drive Matopos National Park.  A wonderful breakfast of homemade muffins, quiche, fruit, and of course tea and coffee, made up the menu as we sat in the shade of a tree with a view of the Zimbabwe countryside. The day was filled with historical sites, beautiful views and animal sightings.

It will be a bittersweet departure from Zimbabwe this morning. We leave our friends and their hospital and their country in our hearts and God's hands.
