KENYA Missions Trip - Day 6

Today we ventured into the CURE hospital for the first time since we arrived in Kenya! When we first got here, we were introduced to the head pastor Victor and the assistant pastor Phillip. They spoke to us about CURE and gave us a tour of the entire hospital grounds. After the tour we had African tea and chapati, the people here are so welcoming and are pampering us so much.

For our morning service project, we split up into groups and worked in the kitchen, the outpatient area, and the playroom. In the afternoon we got to go to play with all the patients in the ward and they and their parents are so sweet and open to welcome us.

We came back to the house and Haley did our nightly devo (and did amazingly)!! Today was a beautiful day full of welcoming faces, Jesus’ grace and love!
