Nashville Student Trip 2022 - Day 4

Today we started off the morning with breakfast. Then we headed over to Proclamation Church and spent time with God through a devotional led by Micah. After our devo, kids started arriving for the second day of Kids Week! We spent the rest of the morning until lunch doing crafts, playing fun games, teaching Bible stories, and worshipping the Lord by serving as leaders for Kids Week. After lunch, we headed deeper into Nashville to do some work at Second Harvest Food Bank! We volunteered to sort the frozen food, which involved standing in a 40° freezer while we worked. The staff estimated that we would sort about 3-4 thousand pounds of food, and we ended up actually sorting 6,260 pounds of food, and 5,217 meals. Then we left the food bank and headed back to Proclamation. We had debrief and shared some more testimonials. Then we headed to a food court to eat Nashville hot chicken. Then we headed to the hotel and chilled for the rest of the night. Until to tomorrow…
