Zambia Student Trip 2022 - Day 3

Today was the best day of the week in terms of ministry so far. We started out with a devotional with the local staff members. After that, we proceeded to get a tour of the whole hospital to get a look behind the scenes. It was truly amazing. Afterwards, we got to go into the ward and make balloon animals, swords, hats, and more for the kids waiting for surgery and those recovering from surgery. 

We got to play with the kids and paint with them as well, and it was truly magical to see all the faces of the patients light up as we played with them. We had a delicious lunch of nshima with meatballs. 

In the afternoon, we were tasked with painting footprints on the concrete to guide patients to their destinations. Overall, the day was really exciting and we finished it off with some dinner and some relaxing card games for community time!!
