Mexico Student Trip 2022 - Day 5

This was our final day of work, and we completed so much. The boys worked together to complete a total of 300 bricks made over three days. Meanwhile, the girls finished repainting the two separate dorm rooms, using a total of five different colors.

While our past two days have had visits to local villages, today we were able to spend time with the kids at the base. We did so many things with them, from soccer to card games to hanging out on the playground and practicing Spanish. While we were starting to eat dinner outside in the pavilion, it began to rain. It absolutely poured, so much so that everyone who couldn’t get a rain jacket was soaked. We were very wet when we went to chapel. Still, we were able to get through everyone’s testimonies. It has been absolutely amazing to hear about everyone’s growth throughout their lives and the paths God has set them on.
