Montana Team #2
In the morning, the team attended a local church, where they worshipped alongside some of the natives. The team was warned of the stray dogs that wandered nearby and a few were even left inside for the church service, where they got all the love and attention they needed. Afterward, lunch was provided and everyone visited for a few hours, beginning the lifelong bonds and relationships that this trip is meant for. The local pastor showed the team the building he wanted to make into an Opportunity Center where young men could live and rebuild their life, and kids were played with on the playground. After everyone had headed back to camp, a large group of the team undertook the steep hike up the hill near the powwow grounds where the camp was, and were able to take in the beautiful green rolling hills that God created. Everyone has loved the start of building those relationships not just with the people in Lame Deer but with each other!
