Adults - Dominican Republic July 2021 Day 5

As we wrap up our week, we as a team can reflect and share our experiences. It is apparent that God moved in us this week. He taught us abundance, reassurance, encouragement, and refreshment.

Psalms 51:10 says, God renews our spirits and purifies our hearts. I believe this is what happened with our team in the Dominican Republic. God purified our hearts by showing us true community and what it truly means to praise Him, even for the smallest of blessings. God renewed our souls as we all found rest here in various aspects of our lives. For me personally I found rest in Him again as He showed me that He truly is a good God that cares for His people.

We will leave this place with renewed spirits and purified hearts, but we also leave with parts of our hearts that are forever impacted by the community in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
