HS Estonia - Music Camp - July 11th

Today (Tuesday) was the second day of the fusion music camp!! Us girls woke up at 7ish to make it to the camp leader meeting at 7:30. We had some intentional worship time, which was awesome and sang Waymaker together in English and Estonian. After talking about highlights and the plans for the day, we headed out to snag some breakfast. After that we went to the main room to have the morning session, which included worship, practicing the camp song dance motions, teaching and small group discussion! Then the Estonians went to their music workshops, while some of us helped out wherever needed and the others went to singing or electric guitar workshops. We then gathered for choir practice, dragging benches outside for all of us to fit, working on the songs featured in the musical the camp will perform on Saturday! After lunch, we had a few hours of free time, and I got to teach some Estonians how to play spoons, which they absolutely loved! Then came the non music workshops, and I played some chess with an Estonian friend, sadly losing two games. Dinner was served and we had our evening session. It was so cool to see God working in my small group discussion, as girls had been very shy before and didn’t share, but soon we were all talking and being very open about our struggles and encouraging each other! The after camp activity was a silent disco! All of our team participated and danced with the Estonians, which was super fun! Then our team had debrief and we shared testimonies, listened to how God had provided opportunities for us to just start conversations with the youth here, and laughed at all the highlights of our day!! All in all, it was a very fun, but exhausting day, with God’s hand being very apparent in how we interacted with each other and everyone else at the camp! We would appreciate prayers for rest and the ability to engage fully in the activities no matter how tired we are!
