Nashville Student Trip 2022 - Day 2

Today is Sunday. This morning, before church at Proclamation, we did a devotional on James 1:19-20, led by Abby Pantle! At church, we were challenged to get to know some of the congregation. After that, we had lunch and began decorating and prepping for Kids Week (VBS). Along with hanging out between tasks, this was a good opportunity to get to know each other. Cassidy and Caleb improvised on their rehearsal of the VBS skit, which provided many laughs. Throughout the day, a few students, a leader, and a Proclamation pastor shared testimonies. After that was journaling time and a quick debrief, followed by frosties from Wendy’s. Today was a relaxed day, but we were still faced with many opportunities to be flexible and see God at work! We’re excited to meet the kiddos tomorrow, and see what else God has in store for our week!
