Exploring God's Heart for Justice

Event: Exploring God's Heart for Justice

Share:

Description:

We live in an era of rampant human trafficking. In fact, there are more people living in slavery today than in any other time in history. Yet, we serve a God of Justice. We will take five weeks to look at what God's justice teaches us about His character, his call on the church, and his call on our lives. How do we face and fight injustice in our world through the lens of our hope in Christ and our identity as God's children?

This class is co-led by:

Sarah and Andy Shaffer - Volunteer Leaders for International Justice Mission. International Justice Mission rescues and restores men, women, and children, from sex-trafficking, labor trafficking, and violent oppression around the world. They prosecute the criminals responsible and repair broken justice systems to protect the poor and vulnerable. For more information: www.ijm.org

Lindy Havens - Executive Director of Restore Innocence. Restore Innocence aids local victims of trafficking in the rescue, restoration, and reintegration process by providing for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. For more information: www.restoreinnocence.org
