April 12, 2020 • Josh Lindstrom • 1 Corinthians 1:18–2:5
Over the last 40 years, the ministry of Woodmen Valley Chapel has endured not because its people were wiser, more powerful or more noble than others, but because of the righteousness, sanctification, and redemption of God. Our history and our future rest not in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. This Easter, we again call on all who would hear, regardless of failures or resumes, to confess Christ as Lord by faith and enter into new life.
Sermon Points:
I. Recognize our failure. 1 Corinthians 1:18-21
II. Acknowledge our desires. 1 Corinthians 1:22-25
III. Admit our need. 1 Corinthians 1:26-29
IV. Trust in Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1:30-31
