Philippines Day 4

Hey Friends! What a Wonderful Day!

Today was an amazing opportunity to visit patients at their recovery houses! But first, we spent time at the hospital joining the doctors on rounds. We were able to see the results of surgeries and meet patients preparing for their upcoming procedures. These doctors truly love what they do! Their compassion and care for both the patients and their parents are so evident. It’s a beautiful thing to witness!

We also had the opportunity to visit two recovery houses, where we spent time getting to know the kids, parents, and caregivers. It was such a sweet time of building relationships and connecting with these precious families. Visiting them in their homes helps everyone feel more comfortable and at ease while we are here. And, of course, there was plenty of laughter as we put on a puppet show! 😂 We are definitely bonding, building friendships, and having fun together as a team!

To top off our day, we had the privilege of enjoying a fantastic dinner with the Cure Hospital leadership team. The food was amazing, and the fellowship was even sweeter!

What an honor it is to be here representing Woodmen! We are so grateful for these opportunities to serve, connect, and be part of the incredible work happening here. ❤️
