Philippines Day 1

After two very long days of travel, we made it to the Philippines! By God's grace, we didn't have any crazy flight delays and made each flight with no stress. Once we landed in Davao City, we were able to freshen up and have a bite to eat before we went to Cure International for a tour of the hospital. One of our Cure Philippines connections for the week, Peter, showed us around the whole hospital and answered all of our questions, as we prepare to serve this week. The evening concluded with a walk around a mall and delicious food, before we head to bed early to fight the jet lag!

We are already very thankful for the hospitality and kindness the Cure staff has shown us. We can't wait to see how the Lord is going to move throughout our week here. Please continue to pray for our team as we prepare our hearts to serve the Cure hospital in any way we can!
