Estonia 26 (TAFT Camp) Day 5

After a very short night's sleep, we sleepily made our way to breakfast. During the morning session, Andres, one of the youth pastors, shared a message about finding hope and trusting God instead of living in fear or worry. It was such a timely reminder that all of us needed to hear.

Later, we had our English environment, where we played games and helped the campers practice their English. Afterward, many of them spent time writing letters to one another. Camp mail has become such a sweet tradition, allowing campers to encourage each other with kind words. They were so excited to see their envelopes beginning to fill up throughout the week.

The evening session focused on Jesus and what it means to have a personal relationship with Him. The message was taught in Estonian, and Google Translate wasn't doing us any favors—Natalie and I had a good laugh trying to follow along! The lesson led perfectly into the evening activity, the Labyrinth.

The Labyrinth is a powerful, self-guided experience where campers walk through a series of stations designed to help them reflect on their relationship with Christ. Each station encourages them to think deeply about where they are spiritually, and the final station allows them to talk with someone about where they stand regarding salvation. It was a meaningful and impactful experience.

We ended the night gathered around a campfire, enjoying grilled sausages and roasted marshmallows together. This camp has been such an incredible experience, and so many special memories have been made. It's hard to believe tomorrow is the last day. We are already sad to see it come to an end because we have built genuine friendships, meaningful connections, and welcomed new brothers and sisters into the family of Christ.
