Tulsa - July 2026 - Day 2

Hey Families! Today was an amazing start to our Tulsa trip! We started off the day in Reconciliation Park where we learned about the Tulsa bombings and what caused them. It was an amazing time of prayer, and we walked around the park and prayed not only for the mission work ahead of us but the kids and the people we are serving this week. After that we headed directly to the Family and Youth Center where we do VBS with the kids! As we met the kids, it was a joy to see them playing and connecting with us. They asked us lots of questions and we played basketball and other games with them at recess. As the day wrapped up with the kids, we went to an ice-cream social with the John 3:16 staff! It was a fun time of sharing our names and getting to know the people who we will be working with over the next few days! It was an amazing start, and we cannot wait to see more of what the Lord has for us over these next few days!
