Estonia 26 (TAFT Camp) Day 2

Dear Parents, this was our first day of English camp. We got put into groups kinda like winter camp. For those who do not know about winter camp, it is when you are put in groups to be a team and represent a color. The big camp games we play are with our teams. The game today was making a campground with only the supplies that were given to you. This was very hard because there was not much to work with, but we had a chance to bid points to get tools that could be useful. Then we all ran out into the forest, finding a spot to build our camps. I did believe they were joking around when that we would play this game, but they were very serious. I got help with building the shelter and the fire. Yes, we did make real campfires, but nothing got fully caught on fire. We also got to get to know all sorts of names and words. I got to teach some kids how to play volleyball because many of them had no idea what it was. That sums up the day, and it is late, and we are keeping Heather way past her bedtime.
