Zambia July Day 1

Hello families!!!! We left very very early yesterday morning to fly to Atlanta and had a layover before our long 14-hour flight to Ethiopia where many of us got to have cool conversations with others we were sitting next to. We have not yet arrived at our destination in Zambia, but we are having such a delightful time in Ethiopia. Our flights did not go as originally scheduled but that is ok because we have gotten to see more of God’s beautiful creation, bond as a team, and trust in his plan for our trip regardless of what the enemy tries to do. We got to have a spectacular time with many games of heads-up, Among Us, and taco cat goat cheese pizza. While we waited for our delayed flight, we got to leave the airport and stay at a pretty incredible hotel across the street and take some rejuvenating naps and much needed showers. We now get to enjoy some scrumptious pizza after some intense card games and return to the airport tonight for our final flight through the night.
