Estonia 26 (TAFT Camp) Day 1
It was so great to get a full night's sleep!
After breakfast, we headed to our training in Tallinn. The Josiah Venture team and interns had a wonderful day together filled with training, games, good food, and lots of time to connect.
After training, we said goodbye to the 12 team members heading to the Türi camp. It was a bittersweet farewell, but we know God has big plans for both teams as we serve at our respective camps.
The TAFT team then traveled 2.5 hours into the beautiful, lush countryside. The drive gave me some sweet time with my three teammates—Karissa, Natalie, and Reagan—as well as Eric, one of the interns, and John, a member of the CA team. Along the way, we had a meaningful conversation about predestination, salvation, and heaven.
Once we arrived at camp, we unloaded our luggage and enjoyed a delicious dinner of hamburger steak with gravy and potatoes. A heavy rainstorm rolled in during our camp training, and we may have taken the opportunity to play in the rain!
We're really enjoying getting to know the Estonian team. Tomorrow, the campers arrive after lunch, and we're excited and ready to welcome them!
