Peru Ministry Day 2
This morning we woke up at 7am to jump into the day. We had a great breakfast to fuel our time with the children. We got to play games while coming aside them in community. The goal was to grow community with them so we could invite them for our services in the evening. We had chalk, crafts, volleyball, and nail painting. We then played some group games, teaching them sharks and minnows and duck duck goose. Then directly following team USA lost to team Peru in a close match of soccer 4-5. After getting a chance to have water and lunch both the guys and girls took a moment to see the town shops. We spent some quiet time with the Lord and then prepared for our trip to see monkeys. Our group hiked back towards the boat as the water had receded overnight so they had to move our boat further outside of the village. We all were able to jump onto the boat going further down the rivers an saw multiple monkeys and even had a few jump into the boat! After breathtaking experience we headed back towards the village to prepare for our final service in village 1. We provided some workshops along with 2 testimony’s and a message for everybody. At the end of the service we were able to pray over all the individual people who asked. This allowed us one last chance to connect before our departure in the mornings.
