Northern Cheyenne - Montana Team
Today was a successful wrap-up of all (almost) of our planned (and one unplanned) service projects. we got a chance to thoroughly clean the church that we partnered with for the VBS. As we were cleaning, Sherri had the idea to ask if we could paint some of the walls. So, we asked the pastor and he said yes! So we ran to the hardware store and grabbed some light blue and white paint. The hallway and railings that we painted look so cheerful!
The covered front porch at a friend's house also got finished up, and we helped out a lot more at the thrift store.
All three of the pre-made garden beds got delivered and two of them are filled with dirt. We will fill the last one with dirt tomorrow.
And finally, we had the wrap-up scrimmage at the football camp and shared the salvation message with all of the teens there.
This evening has been a great day sitting around the campfire, making s'mores, and visiting with our local friends who have stopped by all evening. Also, Taylor, one of our long term friends taught us how to play Cheyenne hand games. they've been playing for at least two hours.
