Fort Collins Day 5
(to be read in British accent)
We awoke at 6:30 in the am and had amazing breakfast, and awesome alone time with a list of what we need God's grace for in our lives. Then we set up for VBS and the start of a new day. We did all our fun VBS activities including worship, fun games, and got to have salvation day for the little children to give them the an opportunity to give their life to Christ. Then we engulfed our handmade encrusted finger sandwiches, delightful chips and other various snackies. We then ventured to the youth pastor, Andrew's, beautiful house to fix up the garden and yard for the wedding he is graciously hosting at this end of this week. We were blessed with plucking the disgraceful weeds and clearing off the dirty stairs so the bride can glide gracefully to her groom. We also got some fun with the doggies and made a fool of the dad bod of Teagan (so sayeth Reagan the 3rd of Britishland). Leader Sam's car ventured off to the wonderous world of Walmart. Everyone who encountered this fabulous building was so shocked by the glamorous, sensational smell that we immediately forgot what we had come for. After some lovely smells and the dropping of the bagels (Tyler), we collected all our supplies and necessities for life and the photos for the children. By our return, we weren't finished with our work. After gruling labor of setting tables up, we got to enjoy some scrumptious fettuccine Alfredo with some chicken and got to bond with the lovely Genesis Project students. We then all came together to worship the Lord. There were tears of joy, sadness and jumps of excitement. Afterwards, we journied to Culvers down the road for a lil afterparty and obtained some refreshing ice of cream. A royal ball then followed our sugar rush with much line dancing and Just Dance moves. We then headed back to our temporary home for a wonderful resting of the eyes and mind to fulfill us for the long next day ahead.
