Peru 3

Hey mom and dad (and everyone else’s mom and dad),

Last night we went to an amazing church service with the village where we did a lot of worship that involved a ton of clapping. Then Collin did a great job bringing the message and Malea followed with sharing her testimony. After that we rushed back for a delightful dinner cooked by our amazing hosts. Then we did a relaxing debrief in the dark. Today we woke up for yet another delicious meal then we helped put on a kids camp where majority of us played with the 10-18 year olds in some fun games. Then we chowed down on our lunch (yum). After that we split into 4 groups… one went back to the school to play more games and activities with the children. The rest split into 3 others groups to take a translator and reach out to the communities we felt weren’t very involved. That caused some great conversations with people being led to come back to church, accept Christ, or hopefully atleast feel God’s presence. After that we got in our snazzy outfits and headed to church for yet another great service with worship, a great message from the one and only Rylee, and an inspiring testimony by Eddi. The service was also filled with a lot of moving prayers and conversations. After that we went back to the Pastor’s house for another delicious meal. After killing multiple spiders in our room we did another debrief in the dark and got cozied up for sleepy sleep. And that’s all folks see you again tomorrow
