Tulsa Travel Day

As far as a travel day goes, ours was really good! We had seats next to each and team bonding began! What a priveledge it is to see students connect and make new friends. We arrived in Tulsa at lunch time so of course we went to Chipotle. First thing we noticed when we left the airport was the humidity. It is thick! We arrived at the church, Kirk of the Hills, to get a tour and settle into our rooms. A team went shopping for food, a group played games, and the others help get all the VBS supplies ready for the next day. The kids settled in and helped with food prep and clean up. We had a yummy dinner of tacos. Thanks Maya and Cindy for cooking. After dinner we spent time in prayer, debriefing, going over the schedule, and 3 students shared their testimonies which led into a leader sharing hers. A very good night, your kids have a lot of energy, and it is so fun getting to know them. Good night all!
