Zambia JULY 2025

We are wrapping up our second day here in Lusaka. Caroline, Shelby, and Madi woke up at 6:30 to make everyone breakfast. We made eggs, toast, coffee, and cut up some fruit. We had a few mishaps but managed to make sure everyone had a good breakfast. Around 8:00 we headed to our three hour church service. It began with worship and then some talking but than MORE worship. With that being said somehow we all went up there and sang a song. Daniel lead us in that time of worship while everyone was filming and encouraging us, we would tell more but that would take three hours. We soon then headed to lunch called 3 trees but yet they had more than three trees. We all enjoyed our milkshakes and lunch YET had another bathroom incident but managed to make it out ok. We then headed to the craft market and got to bargain with the locals. We also got to hear a variety of different stories about wooden animals. We then took on the task of grocery shopping for ten people and bought a cake for our host named Aunt Lillian because her birthday is on the 19th. We then headed back to CURE and had some quiet time, then we did debrief, and heard Micah and Lauren's testimony. We are excited to start to get to know everyone on a deeper level and cant wait to meet the kids tomorrow and get to love on them!
