July Romania #3

Go and make disciples was the theme of the day. We started with our morning devotionals talking about the great commission and what that looks like in our individual lives. Then in our first class we talked about what all should be included it the gospel. For example the creations story, the fall, the redemption and the new life/new creation. Also that, it is most effective when shared through a relationship and that just sharing isn’t enough but we need to be discipled also disciple others. In our next class we looked more into why we don’t change the gospel message but need to know our audience and how they may best receive it. And the idea of multiplying vs reproducing disciples. In chapel we ended with ““Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed.” Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬ The idea that as disciples of Christ we are all farmers and we are all called to sow seed. We have to do it intentionally but the harvest outcome is not our responsibility. It could large or small or we might not even see it but we must continue to sow.

For our team build activity we hiked up to and toured a local monastery that was built in the late 14th century. It was a beautiful view!!

It has been an amazing experience worshiping with several different languages and cultures. It’s hard to believe that the trip is almost over.

“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ ‭ESV
