College Guatemala Day 5

Today was our third day at Jicamapa VBS! 

In VBS we talked about how God promised Sarah and Abraham a child, despite of their old age, but they were impatient and had a child with Haggar at first, but later they end up having a child together, fulfilling Gods promise. I (Evan) was apart of the crafts team, and we did a fun tent craft, overall the VBS day went super well! 

During lunch, one of our translators (Pablo) told us his testimony, and how it was working for Unum International, which was super powerful!

In the afternoon, like the past 2 days, our team split off into either painting inside of classrooms, or doing home visits delivering water filter to some more of the residents of Jicamapa while telling them the story of the woman at the well! Some of the stories shared by the residents were very touching and tragic, unfortunately.

We got back to the hotel in the evening, and had dinner as normal, and heard from some more of our team about their testimonies! My personal highlight of the day was being able to give a devotion to the team about Gideon and his story! Overall fun day filled of stretching, challenges but laughter too.
