College Guatemala Day 4

Today was day two of VBS. I am part of the bible story team and today our story was about Lot and Abraham deciding who got what part of the land. We were able to show the kids through a drama that God continued to promise good things to Abraham even when He gave the good land to Lot and took the bad land for himself. 

For the second half of the day I was part of a team of people to go out and do three home visits where we gave them water filters and told them the story of the women at the well. My personal favorite part of the home visits today was getting to sit and get to know these people and hear there stories. 

It rained here in Jicamapa today which is a huge answer to prayer and something the people here really need. It is only day three of being here in Guatemala, but I have already gotten to experience so much of the big things that God is doing not just in the peoples lives around us but especially within mine.
