College Guatemala Team Day 1

The College Guatemala team has landed in Guatemala City!

We met up at 5:30 at the Monument campus, and after some prayer we set off for the Denver airport. Our flight to Houston was delayed but uneventful, as was our flight to from there to Guatemala City. Josh and his wife, Jessica, the leaders of the ministry of Unum, met us and took us to eat some delicious tacos for dinner. Then we drove to Los Verdes, and did a quick debrief before heading to bed.

Tomorrow we’ll do a painting project here before leaving for Jicampa, where we’ll be the rest of the week.
